ABOUT NANCY KIERSTYN SCHREINER


Nancy has been practicing law for over 32 years.  She is a California

native and married to a fifth generation Ventura County resident. 

She has a vast and widespread legal career, which has provided her

with valuable and extensive expertise.


Nancy has served as Chair of a nationwide law firm's Government

Affairs Group and has chaired the Public and Real Estate Law Groups

for her prior firm.  For over 15 years, she served as Assistant/Deputy

City Attorney for the City of Thousand Oaks.   Nancy has provided experienced, proactive and responsive General Counsel Services to numerous public entities, including a port district,  recreation and park districts, special districts, water and sanitary agencies,  transit districts, joint powers authorities, school districts, public libraries and a county organized health care agency.


Nancy served as Corporate Counsel for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Company  and provided legal advice for its real estate brokerage, escrow, mortgage and title companies,  She provides representation to commercial, industrial,  and residential property owners and developers in real estate negotiations, purchase and sale agreements, financing, exchanges, due diligence, land use and development, subdivision, zoning, C.E.Q.A./N.E.P.A. compliance, and agricultural, commercial, residential, industrial and office leases.


While in private parctice she has provided a full spectrum of legal services to general businesses, corporations, financial institutions, private university, homeowners associations, management companies, automobile dealerships and  nonprofits.  She has consulted on business, corporate and nonprofit  formation and governance, civil rights issues, employment matters, contracts, disabled access issues, wireless telecommunications, and regulatory matters.


Nancy is admited to the State Bar of California, United States District Court for the Central and Eastern Districts and Court of Appeal.
